Twice a month during spring and summer, the Army Corpse of Engineers does a dam release into the Lehigh River Gorge that makes the level of water even higher (more fun).

You can now ride the action packed Lehigh River Gorge, surrounded by state park protected woodlands and mountains, you will enjoy 12 miles and 5 hours of Class III whitewater rafting and outstanding scenery.

This is a fun, thrilling, and pristine trip that everyone from ages 8 and up can do?no experience necessary! While paddling over 17 rapids you?ll scream, laugh, swim, and have an excellent day.

Fee includes trip on the river, life jacket, paddle and taxes.

9AM time refers to when we'd meet in the city to head to PA.
Actual time of the trip on the river would be 11:45.

You must pay in advance in order to confirm a place on the trip.
You can receive a refund if you cancel by June 7th.
If you have to cancel after June 7th, you can receive a raincheck for future use a Pocono Whitewater.

When RSVP'ing, please indicate if you need a ride.
Likewise, if you can offer a ride to someone (who would contribute to gas and tolls) please indicate that as well.

    Thanks for your RSVP, Patrick. I've mentioned this to some folks. But it does make sense to post it. We are usually able to arrange rides. HOWEVER, we can only do so after the member commits to the trip by paying for it. If a ride cannot be found for someone at least 2 weeks prior to the trip, they will be given a refund. Also, the "maybe" list will only be left up for this week. After that, It must be Yes or No as I have to pay the rafting livery well in advance of the trip.
